The vast area around Panquin has been an impressive place since the Middle Ages. First, the dukes of Brabant used it as a hunting ground. Later on, they added a castle, extensive gardens and an orangery. As a showpiece, Charles of Lorraine added an impressive horseshoe-shaped complex with a coach house and stables. That complex will be restored to its former glory and will be the heart and soul of this project.

Thanks to Panquin, the residents of Tervuren will once again be able to enjoy the grandeur of this former historical site.
